What's not to like here.

The second-generation Mini Countryman took on a much more substantial bodyshell which in turn made for a much more ample cabin making it an actually practical vehicle where you are no longer cramming the kids in the back just so you can drive a Mini. As well as this it also got a significant upgrade on the tech side of things not just for the luxury of it but for the extra safety as well. The powerplant was also updated with the 1500cc turbo charged engine providing the best of both worlds with plenty of power whilst still returning great economy.
This particular example is a New Zealand new model so has the added benefit of NZ radio frequencies as well as Satellite Navigation so you won't get lost ever again (although you'll love driving it so much you might opt to take the long way home. On board safety is plentiful including front collision warning with city braking designed to mitigate or prevent frontal accidents. This works brilliantly alongside the Active Cruise Control that helps maintain a safe following distance behind the car in front when cruise is active.
While it's named a Mini, the overall size perhaps they could have re-introduced the name Maxi for this one.
