Bringing a serious swag of old school muscle this 1971 Chevrolet Camaro rolled off the Van Nuys, Los Angeles plant and spent its first 39 years in the US before making its way to NZ in 2010 at which point it showed just over 57,000 miles on the odo. Making sure that power makes it to the ground the diff has recently been freshened with 3.08 crown wheel and pinion gear set which makes it polite to drive at motorway speeds. Underneath the suspension has had a good going over with new front coils, shocks and sway bar bushes up front and rear adjustable Hotchkis sway bar and shocks. All subframe bushes as well as the rear leaf spring bushes have been replaced meaning this car handles and corners better than it did when it was new. She's got a new set of drilled and slotted rotors fitted up front with new brake pads. New brake hoses with a reconditioned brake booster and master cylinder gives this the stopping power to match the horsepower. The new 2.5 inch exhaust exits by the rear diff giving off what in my opinion is the perfect exhaust note.
